So it seemed logical for me to try the same. Trying to figure out how to "fix" this, I've done some searches on Google and stumbled upon some forums where people with the same problem (but with different graphic cards, from other manufacturers, mostly NVIDIA and ATI) were discussing it and found that this could be solved by changing the aspect ratio setting on their drivers. Since I've installed Windows 7 on my notebook (I was using Windows Vista before, and didn't had this problem) I've noticed that when trying to run any game (tried several) on fullscreen, I can't really play with the screen completely filled with the game (my notebook is widescreen, so it just centers the image and fills the sides of the screen with black).
